MANTRAS

In the beginning was the word…
These are some of the mantras that I think are super powerful and helpful on the journey of yoga. I learned most of these from my cherished teachers, Ms. Angelique DeSilva and Dr. Katy Komenda, who were my first and most powerful influences in the amazing and vibrational language of Sanskrit.

I fell in love upon first hearing mantra, and their vibrations changed me; they’ve helped me grow, helped me live more inspired. They’ve stoked my fire of transformation, and they’ve led me to happiness and unity.
All you need to learn is in these mantras.

Listen to the recordings, listen to the pronunciation, really listen. Hear the nuances, the intonation. Hear and contemplate the meanings. Do the repetitions. And then sit and feel for the mantra vibrating in you. The more quiet you get the more you will hear.

Just sit, feel, listen.

Let go of your mind and follow the vibration and sound. This is your most authentic self- the one that is vibration and sound. It’s ok to let the mind wander. Notice where the mind goes, and what comes up, but try not to obsess over it. Instead, redirect your mind to the mantra and the feeling of the mantra. Follow the sound. Merge with the vibration.

Please note that due to compatibility issue between WordPress and Soundcloud, I am only able to provide a button to take you to Soundcloud until the coding issues are worked out. The mantras will open in a new tab, so I’ll be right here when you come back. Thanks!
